The Manitoba Consumer Monitor (MCM) Food Panel is an online survey that asks questions about your opinions, preferences and experiences with food and health.
If you like expressing your opinion, become a panelist on the MCM Food Panel!
The surveys are easy to complete. Each online survey can be completed whenever and wherever it is convenient for you, and should only take 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
The link is sent straight to your email inbox every other month. If you don’t have access to the Internet, you can still participate through a paper copy of the survey.
You can expect a survey about every other month.
You must be 18 years or older, and a resident of Manitoba. We aim for an equal participation of Winnipeg residing panelist and those from rural Manitoba.
Your contact information is confidential and will never be shared with anyone.
You will receive an email every other month that has a link to the site. Click on the link and enter your username, which is simply your email address.
You must first be a registered participant to access the surveys.
You will never be asked to purchase anything.
This is your chance to make a difference. By filling out a survey, you’re helping:
Make sure you and your family can continue to purchase the products you are loyal to.
Develop new, healthy, good tasting foods that are good for your family and your community.
Help create new government policies and programs that will guarantee a strong, healthier future for Manitobans.
Here’s another great reason for you to join. For every survey completed you will be entered for the potential opportunity of receiving gift cards!
Draws are completed two weeks after the survey closes, and selected recipients are contacted by phone or email. The gift cards are mailed out or picked up at our University location.
Unfortunately, gift cards that are lost in the mail are not the responsibility of the MCM Food Panel to replace. However, staff members will investigate each matter to see what can be done.
Thank you for becoming a participant in our study! Unfortunately, the previous surveys have been closed and analyzed.
If you have a suggestion for one of our surveys, please let us know – we’d love to hear from you!
