The MCM Food Panel consists of a small team of academic researchers and staff from the University of Manitoba, in the Faculty of Health Sciences, College of Medicine, Department of Community Health Sciences. Our research team gathers information from a community food panel who fill out surveys regarding their opinions, preferences and experiences with food and health, then uses the surveys to build studies and disseminate information to food growers, processors, developers and governments. If you would like more information about the MCM Food Panel, or would like to comment or share your opinions, feel free to contact us.
Our work depends on your opinions and feedback. We welcome your input.
At MCM Food Panel we’re really into surveys. They tell us a lot about you, your preferences, and how to build a healthier Manitoba. Please take the following survey about how you got to know us. We need to know this information so that we can reach out to more Manitobans, and make our province even healthier. It will only take a few minutes and although it is a ‘Survey Monkey,’ we promise no ‘monkey business’ will be done with your identity or the information you provide.
When you follow MCM Food Panel on social media you can get the inside scoop on new recipes, tips on cooking healthy, local meals, and even opportunities for valuable schwag (aka merchandise). No we won’t send you links to our favourite cat videos but we will let you know when we’re holding special events that you can attend and maybe win a prize or sample free food. Bet your Aunt May’s Twitter account can’t do that.
